I met MiO finally while he was in town for Barrett-Jackson. of course I had to sit through a few of his seminars and realized I have been doing some things wrong and I mistakenly washed/dried my microfibers with my terry towels.

So Im starting fresh, I just ordered EVERYTHING I would need based off our conversations and observations. I look at it as helping the economy....To all my bill collectors see the guy from OC Smile

seperately, otherwise the microfibers get packed with lint from the terry towels.

Microfiber:
wash soap(dye and fragrance free) and warm water - I use the eco cycle myself since its a light load.
tumble dry
No other towels/fabrics
No Fabric softener
Just like claybar - you drop it its now a glass rag(my garage/driveway is nasty so this is just a safe rule) You may have a garage floor that you could drop a towel on and be ok, but NOT until its been washed and checked..
I keep mine in a couple plastic bins with snap lids, ones that I can use on paint, ones I can't use on paint. Those cheapy plastic drawers you can put on rollers work well too.

Terry towels I only use them for general cleaning(not paint) so they just get tossed in with the house towels.. Wash warm, in the dryer med setting w/dye and fragrance free dryer sheet.

I use the dye and fragrance free soap and dryer sheets since I just don't like the smell of most laundry soaps and dryer sheets. But dryer sheets do help with static cling. Your choice may vary.

I also found this about microfiber.

Seems like a decent link.

Yep, that's me.... creating monsters everywhere I go!

Chris, it was great meeting you on Saturday and I wish we would have had more time to hang out but these events are always a lot of work. Even when Barrett-Jackson screws up like they did this time. At least they're being very stand up about it all and are letting us do West Palm Beach completely gratis in April. And that's about a PT Cruiser full of cash that we'll save because of it. So I sorta took one for the team last week, so to speak.

And yet, through it all, I still had a blast!

What was the real story with the Veyron? That whole thing seemed shifty to me. Craig Jackson got himself a heck of deal, well, relatively speaking....

The guy sitting in front of the stage was up against at least one phone bidder and when the hammer fell, it was his. He then backed out of the deal and was promptly escorted out of the building. Craig stepped in an offered to honor the selling price (perhaps a stand up thing to do, perhaps a bit opportunistic, perhaps a bit of both) and it seems one of the phone bidders then got back in touch and offered to take it off Craig's hands. We may never know the exact details, but if I'm in Scottsdale or West Palm Beach next year I'll check with very cute friend/B-J employee when I'm there.

She's the one who told me Craig almost bought Robosaurus a year or so ago. He was high bid when bidding stalled and all the employees in the auction arena were laughing that their big boss was going to end up with the stupid thing. Someone else finally stepped up and outbid him though. And yet..... it was on display in Las Vegas.
